This is a batch of NEW Universal for Phones G1 holders that we are releasing following discovery after a change at our facility. A small batch set aside for warranty that we are now offering.

As these are NOS, there is NO WARRANTY AND ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

History

Universal for Phones G1 was first introduced in 2016 and served as the primary workhorse for holding phones mechanically until the G2 was introduced in late 2020.

Product Details

• The body is made from aluminum extrusions that is then machined, hand grained and anodized.  
• The G1 has aluminum pins between the body and the end components vs the G2 that today has the stainless steel pins. 
• The aluminum ball on the back is 20mm in diameter.

• The simple one handed operation remains and is super easy.
• Can rotate 360 degrees on a brand new 20mm ball mount.
• Gap width in closed position - 65mm (2.5")
• Gap width in extended position - 90mm (3.5")

Small detail...but important

• Never leave your device in any holder in the sun while away from the vehicle. This is crucially important in high temperature regions.
• This holder is made of aluminum and it will pick up heat. We always recommend that you allow the air conditioning in your vehicle to quickly bring down the holder temperature before placing the phone in the holder. 
• Do not use with Pop-Sockets on the back of phones. It does not work well due to the deep nature of the Pop-Socket.
